At Soul Care Network, our mission is to equip the Church to reclaim the ministry of soul care through the sufficiency of Scripture. We provide biblical counseling, training, and resources that call God’s people to walk in obedience to Christ, confront sin with truth and grace, and find lasting hope in the gospel. Our aim is to strengthen individuals and churches so that lives are transformed, families are restored, and God is glorified.
We envision a world where the local church once again serves as the primary place of care for broken and struggling souls. By training and equipping believers to counsel biblically, we seek to see the body of Christ marked by compassion, integrity, and steadfast faithfulness. Our vision is that every believer who comes through our ministry would not only find freedom from sin’s grip but also grow in sanctification, learning to live in the fullness of Christ and extend His hope to others.
We believe the deepest struggles of life are not answered by human wisdom but by the living Word of God. Soul Care Network exists because too many have been led to think that hope is found in methods that leave Christ on the margins. We know true transformation comes only through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our calling is to come alongside the Church, helping believers reject unbiblical thinking, confront sin with grace and truth, and walk in the freedom that Christ purchased. We labor so that men and women would no longer be enslaved to false promises but would experience the abundant life found in obedience to Christ, for the glory of God and the good of His people.
The Commitment to Scripture as the Final Authority: God's Word is wholly sufficient for every spiritual struggle. It exposes what's really going on in the heart and shows us God's standard, and it also gives us His means of change. We don't need to supplement it.
The Commitment to Christ and the Gospel as the Only Hope for Change: Lasting change comes through Christ's death and resurrection. The gospel isn't only how we enter the faith. It's the power that keeps renewing our hearts every single day.
The Commitment to Humanity as Image-Bearers in Need of Redemption: Every person bears God's image. Every person is also fallen and needs the redemption that only comes through Christ.
The Commitment to Sanctification as God's Design for Holiness: We believe counseling is intensive discipleship. Believers grow in holiness through the Spirit's power as they obey God's Word and live in fellowship with the local church.
The Commitment to the Local Church as God's Chosen Place for Soul Care: Soul care belongs to the church. When believers are under pastoral oversight and sitting under biblical truth, they find the kind of care and accountability that actually lasts.
The Commitment to Stand Firm in Spiritual Warfare through Christ: Believers face real spiritual opposition. Counseling calls them to stand firm in Christ, clothed in the armor God provides, confident that the victory is already His.
The Commitment to Hope in Christ Alone for Every Struggle: No sin or addiction is beyond God's grace. In Christ there is forgiveness, and there is real power to walk in newness of life.
The Commitment to Counseling as an Expression of Christlike Love: Counseling is an act of love. That means patience, sacrifice, and tangible care for people, especially the vulnerable.
The Commitment to Purity in Life and Counsel: God designed sexuality for marriage between one man and one woman. Counselors pursue purity in their own lives and call the people they counsel to the same.
The Commitment to Competency and Integrity in Ministry: Counselors need to keep growing in wisdom and skill. They also need to abide in Christ and handle God's Word honestly, without reaching for the false solutions secular systems offer.
The Commitment to Reconciliation with God and Others: Counseling pursues peace with God through repentance. It also pursues peace with others through confession, forgiveness, and restoration.
These values reflect our commitment to Scripture and are informed by the biblical convictions expressed in the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors’ Standards of Conduct.
